2. 32Bit applications can only use up to 2GB RAM.
3. Using more RAM does not make a game run faster if the CPU and videocard can not render it fast enough.
Let me be frank. The laptop is NOT good. The 950M has only 2GB RAM and only rather slow DDR3 instead of the way faster GDDR5 which is more usual with quality videocards.

You barely meet the requirements for Shadow of Mordor.

You are clearly below minimum requirements for Arkham Knight.
There's nothing you can do, besides running on really low settings.
Skyrim, depending on which mods you use, should run more or less well.
Your screenshot is showing the 950m's VRAM (2GB).
Also, your laptop isn't really a powerful gaming laptop. It's borderline gaming.
The 950m isn't particularly good.
That seems quite idiotic for a gaming laptop
Technically you could call it a gaming laptop, but it's only suitable for low entry games and games with rather low requirements.

Even my six year old videocard, which back then was lower middleclass, is faster than your mobile 950M. And it has only 1GB GDDR5 RAM.
Do you have any good tips for when I buy a new one?
I thought I bought a good laptop but it seems I didn't, it would be nice if you could give me some guidelines as to what to look at before buying one so I won't make the same mistake twice...
The next time you're planning to buy a new computer, post in the Hardware & Operating Systems forum and list your budget, country of origin and what games you are planning to play.
That should help you find a sweet deal.
P.S.: I just looked and i can find the laptop for about 2/3 of what you paid.

kk thank you so very much :)
Btw. the laptop itself was about €1100,- but I bought some accesoires with it which I can't use to its full potential now.
