Character Names / Naming and Ancestory?

How to debate this topic without sounding like a crazy person.


Ive been gaming since the early 90s, my first MMO was Ultima Online, but my first LOVE was Dark Age of Camelot.

My very first Character i created was called "Legohaidan" thus made by the ingame name generator. I liked it... it fit my highland warrior paladin quite nicely.

but.. as i grew older, and played other games ive found this Character name following me... I use it in other games.

When i make a warrior... you best believe its going to be named Legohaidan.

Now my daughter has started playing games... and she used my steam account before she got her own... and you guessed it.... she played as Legohaidan...


now she has friends she plays with and her online name is..... Legohaidan.




i dont know how i feel about this... its like the passing of the torch... am i able to keep using this character name? or.... is it time to let it go... let it be Her character now?
