GTAV Download stuck at 99%

Just spent 2 days waiting for my GTAV to finish downloading with incredibly slow speeds. Now I'm stuck at 99% (67.1/67.1 GB). My disk usage has suddenly stoped to 0 bytes and at this point I'm done googling solutions. Could there be something wrong with my disk? Download also pauses and starts frequently.

EDIT: Have tried many fixes like changing Download regions, stoping and staring, restarted steam, restarted computer.

Have you checked the obvious, like...free space available?

defentently have enough free space avalaible, have checked.

Occasionally my disk will spike to 23 Kb/s but slowly drop down to 0 again

If there would've been no space avaiable for the download in the first place, he wouldn't have been able to allocate memory for it

Indeed, but the disk is, obviously, not used only by Steam. The client may have been able to allocate the needed memory to create the game files, but what if other processes and applications reduced the free space AFTER that? Windows use to not behave properly when disk usage is very close to its maximum capacity.

If no issues with the disk, then something is wrong with your network.

tried stopping and resuming , have restarted router, and computer , have alredy changed Download regions.

Yes that's a situation I also faced when commenting that.

checked disk, says in have 700 GB free but also I have a recovery disk with only 1GB free on there.

Which of these disks houses your game library, the one you chose where to install the game on?

Which of these disks houses your game library, the one you chose where to install the game on, located?

pritty sure it is the main 700 GB free disk where it has my Steam Program Apps folder

Is there a problem when I go to disk>program files> steam > steamapps> common> GTAV and it is empty but all my other game folders have files?

Can you check for sure?

yes can confirm the recovery disk just has a small recovery program in it.
