I currenty have the same problem, but by the moment I found a solution:
Rename :
"SSAudioSvc32.exe" to "noSSAudioSvc32.exe"
C:\Program Files\SteelSeries\SS Audio\Foundation (Default)
SS Audio and Nahimic are made by the same company and that's why they are conflicting.
so i decided to keep only Nahimic and remove the driver for the Arctis 3 and everything is ok now.
yuo have all the featuers of SSaudio biuld in Nahimic.
on paprer seems like both software are the same just branded with different names.
whats your MB by the way ?
Gigabyte, but i dnt have anything called Nahimic
Nop, just Realtek and my SteelSeries Engine
Yeah too late for now. I've switched to Arctis pro gamedac. But the sloution actually was to not use SS audio at all (ignore the critical update) since SSaudio is the same softwear that is coming with MSI motherboards (Nahimic) and if yoiu have both installed it will cause that issue.
