Maybe because its not a game related question but a technical question
Not needed
I dunno what OS you are using but actually you only need to find the location where you can change your resolution and somewhere there you can choose between the following options:
1) Cloned - Two times your monitor 1
2) Split - Monitor 1 and 2
3) Connected - one long monitor 1 (dont forget to change your resolution to the desired one)
For example for me on windows 10 it would be:
Right click on the desktop
Displayoptions
Advanced
Change Monitor detection to <Connected>
Change resolution to <What ever res you wanna use>
This option needs you to change everything manually and you need to have perfectly fitting monitors because it wont auto adjust anything if you have a 24'' monitor and a 29'' monitor or something like that
Actually I had a build for a few weeks until I decided to use the second screen for a seperated linux machine instead of using the most stupid way of using two screens at a time :D the split option for workers/programmers stations is awesome, the cloning for presentations but the connection of two screens is something I would never recommend for gaming
