steam and ccleaner

i just runned ccleaner and seems like the download of a game i was doing as being totally eliminated (from 39gb/50 to 0) is this a thing?

ya... cuz when ur downloading a game, it's a temp file. the whole point of ccleaner is to clean out temp files.

Sounds like something you should ask on the ccleaner forum.

Don't just run ccleaner without checking what gets deleted.

didnt knew that downloading games are in the temp files category,other times i used ccleaner while steam was patching a game and didnt had this problem

Maybe it wasn't related to ccleaner, ask on their forum. If you didn't close the program maybe you can save a textfile of what got deleted
