PS4 Controller doesn't work in offline mode
When I'm online the controller works just fine, but as soon as I enter in offline mode my ps4 controller is still recognized ( and works in big picture ) but it doesn't work in any game and the flashing color can't be modified from the PS4 configuration menu.
Is it normal? If not, can I fix it somehow?

I have the same issue but with the XBOX 360 controller, it seems because i cant connect to the steams servers my controller profile settings cant be reached so steam doesn't know what setting to use for the game and simply deactivates any control functionality withing the game. The connection it's online right now but how we suppose to play offline without controller, please fix this issue.

For the XBox pad, disable configuration support for it in Steam and replug it, games support it just fine by themselves. Not a solution for the PS gamepad, of course, but at least for the XBox gamepad.

I have the same problem with the PS4 controller. Actually it worked offline with no problem before I had to restore my computer, now it works only online. Seems the configuration file is not downloaded.

Lots of bug, nice. Guess that's where the money's being saved to give us all those amazing discounts.

Glad I never switched to using Steam DS4 support. DS4Windows still works perfectly well provided your happy to get used to XYAB prompts instead of circle, square, triangle and X. Takes a lil time but once you get used to it you don't even notice. worse is seeing the X prompt and going for X on the DS4 instead of triangle. others areeasier as there a no common buttons overlapping.

You still get Xbox prompts in most games (only game Iv'e seen so far with actual PS4 support is CS:GO). And DS4 is amazing, but Steams beats it in terms of sheer power with it's multiple functionality and the comunity and devs backing it up. DS4 is sweet though.
