Xenoverse 2 won't launch, do I need a new graphics card?
So, I've been trying to figure out why Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 won't start after launching on my computer. Steam says it's launching... then nothing. It even pops up in task manager for a few seconds before disappearing. I went through all the help links regarding this and the only issue I can see is that my graphics card may literally be too old to run the game? I'd like a second opinion on this though.

I'm using a ATI Radeon HD 4350. From what I understand they don't actually have driver updates anymore? So maybe that's the problem? I'm willing to get a new graphics card, but I'd still like to hear what you guys think.

Im wondering you where still able to play on such a ancient piece. You should definitely upgrade and if you like anime games I recommend to chose nVidia over ATI/AMD, since japanese developers optimize their games much more for nVidia. We have seen that already by Akibas Trip or Hyperdimension Neptunia.

Hahah, yeaaah. That's what I was told too. My sister is good with computers and she was astounded that I was using something that old. I'm actually planning on getting a Nvidia one, so you're right on the money there. Thanks for the input! :D

So, I went to check my computer's compatibility with certain games and this is what it says when it gets to my graphics card:

"Over 94 months out-of date". That's almost 8 years! Well, it's no wonder it won't run the game! But there aren't any new drivers, so new graphics card it is. XD

Your problem has nothing to do with drivers. The game uses DirectX11. Your HD 4350 is only DX10. (In addition to being way too weak to run it even if it were DX11.)

Oooh, yeah, that'd make sense. I had no idea. Thank you!
