How to create new unsynced game copy ?

I want to copy and mod with the copy of a game without having trouble with the original one.

How can i create a copy that doesnt launch under the original one´s name at launch.

You cant even change the name of Steam games.
Your screenshot gives you the answer " Non Steam Mod or Shortcut"
Meaning whatever that links to is not a Steam game.
You can rename non Steam links in your library to everything you want.
I can rename it " Half Life 3 Test MOD". That does not make it true.

Ask the people who made the game, they should know.

Or just install it on another PC.
