How to install mods.

So since since someone locked the other freakin discussion I made, here is a new one. Ill make it short. I don't know anything about modding. Are there any mod install instruction videos that one could recommend? Do mod installations differ with different games? I mentioned something about modding Fallout 4 and someone said go to Fallout 4 discussion and then my discussion was locked (yea thanks for the explanation dude. not really because the post wasn't just about Fallout 4 mods. This is the Helps and Tips forums right?) I would be fine with a reliable recommendation for a video that teaches how to install mods. I just installed Nexas Mod Manager and want to know if that is ideal for downloading Nexus mods. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
