PC Controller : Logitech v.s. Steam v.s. Mocrosoft

Hey, I am a newer meber of Steam. I just recently started using my account again after about 2 years(I lost my password a few days after i set up my account, and just recently retreived it). To the point, I am used to consle gaming, and I wanted some helpful info from Steam vets on the best gamepad to buy. I know that the Steam controller is made for Steam(duh), but I respectfully dislike its uniqe design from pictures I have seen. I know the PC XBOX 1 controller and the Logitech gamepad are popular, but third party products are usually more risky ten brand products. Should I go for the Steam gamepad, and try o get used to it, or go for the Xbox 1 controller or Loitech gamepad. Thanks yu so much in advance.

Get a 360 or x1 controller. They work flawlessly with any game with controller support without any messing around and are excellent quality.

I have several Logitech ones and Xbox One controllers. Hands down, the Xbox 1 controller is the best of the bunch.

I just purchased a normal $5 usb gamepad. But I'd imagine that you want wireless.

I dont mind wired controllers, as long as they aren't 5 inches long. Thanks for the info everyone. Im sorry again about the grammer mistakes.
