Can you get a scammer's home address by IP ?

Even if you get, what will you do with it? Send it to valve? They know everyone IP history..

Also don't trust youtube tutorials about how to hack people, thats how you could get hacked yourself.

We'll it depends. Maybe they're using a VPN but take your chances.

Sometimes, sometimes not. There is always a risk that the location is wrong, it's mostly limited to a town. It's also easy to hide it behind a VPN, it's not worth getting more than the country it's from really.

and what will you do when you get the address? Can you be 100% positive that it is the correct address and not some innocent persons?

Unless you have a valid reason for getting the address, you are better off leaving it alone and just moving on. Unless you plan on breaking the law and risking jail/prison time....

As I know, the IP tells you the city, state/province and country where the ISP is located. If you don't know what is an ISP, it is an Internet Service Provider. It's the company which grants you access to the internet. I only was wondering if something like that ever happened.
