Help!! Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 not Launching
So I just bought Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and it WILL NOT launch. It pops up with the window saying it's launching the game, but then... nothing. It even blips on in the processes section of Task Manager for half a second before never coming back. I do not know how to fix this.

Before anyone recommends anything or asks, I'm using Windows 7. I already have the 'Update' that is supposed to fix it. I had the update before even installing the game, it hasn't helped. I've tried running it as administrator, verifying the integrity of the game files, opening it from the folder directly, I tried repairing the redlist files as well. I've combed the help sections of Steam and nothing helps.

I restarted steam half a dozen times and restarted my computer twice now. Nothing helps. I've looked around for answers, but nothing I've found works. Please help. I want to play this game with my friends, but I can't...

If you bothered to read the second part of my post at all, you'd know I already tried all of this. None of this helps me. If it did, I wouldn't be posting here in the first place.

Actually, I did bother to read your post, and it mentioned nothing about, say, checking whether your anti-virus software or firewall are blocking game files. Following the steps in these two articles will resolve this type of issue 99% of the time. Don't ask for help and then dismiss it. If you know better, by all means, fix the issue.

I'm sorry. I'm just a little frustrated. I have checked all my firewall and anti-virus programs. None of them are blocking it and I made sure to allow exceptions for it anyways just in case. I also checked all the programs that could be interfering with Steam and closed them. I already updated my drivers as well and I'm not sure what else to do.

What confuses me is that it's only Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 that's doing this. All my other Steam games run fine. Even the previous game, Xenoverse 1, runs without much issue.

I'm actually having a very similar problem with Xenoverse 2 too. However I've had the game since November and just recently like 2 weeks ago it just started crashing on startup.
