Activating a region-locked game while in a foreign country temporarily
The games in my account were all bought in Turkey, but I have been staying in Denmark since January and I will return back on July. I have received a steam-gift from one of my friends, which can only be activated in Turkey. I did not change the country of residence in my account since my stay is temporary, so I'm still able to display the prices in my local currency. I cannot activate this game in Denmark, however, I have access to my PC at home. So, if I connect to my pc in Turkey and activate the game and then play the game in Denmark, would my account get banned?

july is right around the corner . save yourself the hassle and wait to play the game till you return home . it's only a game , dont waste your time trying to avoid a region lock that could wreck your account

No it would not be banned but you can not play/activate the game while staying in Denmark. Steam checks your current IP when activating/starting a game and since you are currently in Denmark it will refuse the activation.
If you thinking about using a VPN to simulate a turkish IP then that can indeed get your account permanently suspended according to the Steam TOS.
Mind you, in all my years on Steam i have never seen someone who was really banned for that, but there is always a first. So why risk it if you are back at home in 6 weeks anyway.

Actually I wouldn't use a VPN, I would just establish a remote connection to my home pc which has a static IP. And I believe that Steam is able to display the IP addresses which are used for logging in my account, and they may notice that my home IP address has been used for logging in my account for more than 3 years. But I don't want to take any risk, so I guess I will wait until I go back to home.

That's retarded. I legitimately have access to 3 countries of my residence and I should be able to buy and activate anything from those countries I reside in.
