Cheaters on CODMW3

i´d like to open a dicussion about : Why does neither Steam or Activison is doing something about the hudge amount of cheaters on cod MW 3 servers

i play cod since the first game and after the release of MW 3 i was so exited to play this game.
Of course it is not so nice that there are no free dedicaded server anymore but the game is so well programmed and the game play is so good everthing is great and i like it very much. TILLLLLL: i experienced the first Hacker-cheater or what you will call them. in my SOF 2 times we just banned cheater as soon they appeared and you nerver saw them again on your server also Punkpuster saved us a lot of work by kicking thos cheaters automaticly.
i have some 255 hours of playing now and at a certain moment i decided to write down every cheater which will cross my way on the cod 8 servers. i have around 50 Players which i meet since the first day i play and i wonder why nobody takeds action against thos antiplayers.

As COD 9 is about to pop up i decided to NOT Buy this game because of the not solved cheaters problem. i am not going to pay 50 bucks or more the experience the same hell i do now
Please tell me and Steam and Activison what you feel abou this .

It´s not funny to see that everyday many cheaters are at cod mw3.
Why nobody can stop this. I don´t want buy the next cod game if steam can not stop the cheater´s.
Before we had dedicatserver and we had banned the cheaters from our server, but now we can only report the cheaters. I have the opinion that nobody can stop the cheaters.

Steam is not the place to complain about the hacker issues, you need to bring it to Activision's attention on their boards. Steam can not do anything about the problem.

one steam dosnt care 2 activeison dosnt care and 3 there is dedcated servers just enable it in optcions plus theres 2mill topics about cheaters on mw3

all cheats have no m8ts,,,thats why they do it !!! there so pissed off with the world and fedup of being a looser that they invent a new persion who cheats , this is to help themselfs come to terms that there always going to have no m8ts and will never get anywhere thats cos there a looser cheat that no1 will ever want to know or want as a m8t with , i ask you , do you have a m8t that cheats ???? i dont cos i would not trust a cheat or even want to no1 .....

because call of duty is full of cheaters and hackers. Sorry, I mean, I play mw2 and mw3 sometimes, but I eventually get a hacker or a cheater playing. It's annoying, but theres nothing we can do because infinity ward could care less.

They are doing something about it, otherwise there would be a LOT more people cheating, not just 1-2 every couple of games.

Activision is doing nothing because every new security measure they have to make they will lose money and thats not gonna happen for a company which want to grow up every year with incomes. Steam cant do anything about the cheaters cause the P2P matchmaking system doesnt allow to set VAC anti hack system.

so the only solution seem to be not to play and if nobody is buying the new games like cod 9 then nobody is making money and a lot of ppl loos there jobs just because infinity ward is afraid to pay just a little of the money they ean for a proper anticheat software. I m sorry but that sounds pretty poor pretty pretty poor!!! i think we have to bring this up on larger platform like Facebook so more ppl can join this discussion!
