i want to find out how i go about get a refund for this game, i now find it pointless playing multiplayer a hacker is on every game you play, nothing is ever done about it and reporting hackers clearly does nothing, so u charged me a load of money for it and its awfull, can i get my money back so i can buy a good hacker free game please?

Steam does not provide support for 3rd party games. That is the publisher/developers job.

Completely pwned. That or his friends are the ones hacking MW3... I want to laugh so hard right now. Oh well, how pathetic is that...? By the way, common sense should tell you that you won't get a refund. Even less so because you played 285 hours on it. Jeez... lol

It's worth a read, knowing about the state of MW3, some statements are pure comedic relief.

No. We are keeping the server files secure to protect the game from hacking and cheating and ensure the ranking and progression system integrity.

Because doing that totally worked on MW3... ¬_¬

At the very least, they are adding their own 'Anti Cheat' alongside VAC, I guess the whining will be splitted between both forums

you only need steam to play the game because you brought it through steam if you would have brought it on disc from a store you dont need steam

MW3 is a Steamworks title, you'll need an steam account to play it, regardless where you purchase it.
That counts for retail too.

Basically things are so bad that I won't bother buying anything MWxx in the future. They are just using us as a money tree without any real justification for the cost. The game has more problems than earlier versions and this version just tweaked gameplay. The game has not been worth the effort for some time and there are better games coming through. They have not done anything for users and anything passed to Steam gets a 'standard reply' and then disappears when I go back to them having tried all their 'switch it of switch it on' crap. Their strap line should be 'Fu*k you very much'.

You also need a copy of windows and a keyboard and mouse. Not going to scream at Microsoft or Logitech?

Steam is the shop that sold it to you, Valve is the company that own that shop. It's like saying you bought it off ebay and expect ebay support to look into the game for you.
