never ever had an issue with ea or steam games.

The reason there are no GRIDIRON games on steam is pretty simple, licencing by the companies stops anyone else realistically even making a game, leaving it a big monopoly for EA to rule over while they can afford to. Since EA killed the franchise on PC to milk consoles for the extra $20-30 a copy, interest has pretty much vanished which is a shame as Madden and indeed NHL series where some of the best ported to PC. Even if the series had not been cancelled years ago on PC they would locked to Origin as with all things from EA now.

It was a great shame that NHL and Madden where put to death on PC, but what really makes me angry is that EA stilll produce the rubbish sport licences "NBA netball" and "Tiger shags about golf" every year despite being utter rubbish ports, never mind utter crap sports in the first place. I suppose at least EA haven't ruined the FIFA Football series totally yet, but they sure are running low on innovation these days, but I wish they would drop calling it FIFA SOO-CHER... FIFA means Fédération Internationale de Football Association which clearly has FOOTBALL in the name, which to everyone outside America is a pretty big insult considering it's watched and played by massively larger amount of people compared to Gridiron. Would Americans like the whole world calling American football "NFL Padded Rugby"??? (Which is actually a truer description of the sport) and forcing them to have it on all mention of the game even though your native country doesn't call it by that name? nah you'd all start a war.

Football might be the no.1 sport of the world.Yes,still there aren´t many football games out there.I only know FIFA,PES and the manager games.Pure Football shouldn´t be forgotten.
EA won´t release their own game on Steam,Konami can´t say much to that.
By the way you have to get the license first to create real players and leagues and cups.
I doubt that someone at these days like a game without any real players and teams.It isn´t cheap furthermore.

EA and Steam disagree about handeling DLC, so a number of EA games are not realeased to Steam, and EA wants people to use Orgin. So games which have no competing games on Steam, don't get released on Steam.
