Counter Strike 1.6 after update is bugged

ok so my cs 1.6 updated before 30 minutes to the newer one..And it bugged my cs... Now when i start the game it load fine but the GUI is bugged ... It's half the screen...White bar on the lower half of the screen...And the options are bugged....Will this be fixed somehow...I re-installed the game and again the same ♥♥♥♥...

i had 500 fps ingame and i moved like gravity was set to 100,i turned wait for vertical sync off in the options and now i have 102 fps but in console fps_max is 101...the game is still unplayable it is really dumb

Yeah i know....It bugged the game ... It's unplayable...Cuz of the update...They have to rollback to the old counter strike 1.6 ..And leave WINDOWS users alone! Update LINUX we don't care but 100% of the people who play cs 1.6 are windows users!And bugged the game for everyone...Fix this ♥♥♥♥....This is why i have steam to play cs 1.6 not to stay and look at it...

Yes, with what is already all play! not in this case! Bring back our old well-proven CS1.6 and run the update to continue on the shelf! Waiting for old our Assembly on which we perform for many years!

Hey guys,
I found the solution.

To fix the GUI problem and get the old GUI, follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to Your games list.
2. right click on counter-strike 1.6
3. properties->Launch configuration
4. write -nofbo in arguments textbox
5. Start CS & Enjoy!!!

Hello everyone. I've come here because I've got a problem. Since steam/valve updated Counter Strike 1.6 I'm getting some serious problems setting the game to run at 100fps, which was something that was common before and not so hard to get. I am running CS at MSi FX603 with upgraded RAM to 8GB. So it's
i5 2.67GHz to 3.0GHz
Nvidia GT425m 1GB DDR3
8GB 1033 MHz RAM
The problem before was that CS would reject to run the game wth nvidia graphic card, so instead it used intel HD 3000. But in game when the things get heated up it switched to nvidia. Anyway, with both cards I'd get 100fps and not dropping. NOW with this update, i can't get this lame game to run over 50fps. At spawn i get 100fps but once I start moving fps drops to 10!
I've set fps_max 99 or 100. 101.. tried all of them. cl_cmdrate 100 or 101 up to 110. cl_updaterate the same as cmdrate, tried rate 20000 and 25000. I tried every single thing just to make it run at 100 fps. Of course in my graphic settings vertical sync is off.
Any1 got some idea how to fix this? Cause if i don't get it done I'll just delete the game from library. Thank you all in advance
