Online battle simulation games
So, im currently looking for a simulation game that not only can you play single player, but online with friends aswell. In my mind im think of something along the lines of stronghold or age of empires. Where as you can build giant bases and have long battles over the internet. I play SC2 etc but they are very fast paced.

I think maybe something like civilization with a bit more battle in it? Would hit the sweet spot. anyone advice some nice simulation games?

Shogun 2 if you don't mind short battles, but C&C series is great, and R.U.S.E Wargame: European escalation

Thanks! ^^, I just looked around and found rome 2 comes out soon, may wait for that rather than buy shogun 2. Unless someone can give me more suggestions?
