Send Gift to a Non-Friend?
Is it not possible to send game-gifts to other steam users without them being in your friend list?

That doesn't really help me here, since I don't have any current address .. I've found someone I used to know and wanted to kick off the conversation by sending them a gift. Having to friend them first kind of spoils the surprise a bit :x

Only way is via knowing their email address.

Tradeing. You can trade gifts to pplz but whats the point if their not your friendz loulz!

As you can see, the thread was opened in 2013. Since then, Valve changed its gifting policy. You can only give presents to friends.
