Have you been banned from DayZ after you fixed the bad serial problem?

Hi there

I was banned from DayZ after the little problem i had for the bad serial number on startup....but the fix to the bad serial number is to removes some registry and afterwards it worked fine till i wanted to join a server and recieved a Global Ban message from Battleye.Is it a problem on steam's side or bettleye because bettleye wont help people get their accounts back....but did steam sell me a bad serial number or battleye just wont help us?

hi DayZ isn't on steam, i think you mean WarZ, steam are giving refunds to people who bought it i suggest you make a ticket asking for one

you will have to tlak to the DayZ people. dayZ is a mod for arma2. if i remember when you load up arma2 you must load arma 2 and the expantion to have it load up all the required file to run as well as settings. then install and verify DayZ mod with the installer. this should fix the issue. i know i had the issue myself when i was 1st getting into the DayZ and it was due to not reading the instructions.

But im already banned from DayZ because i messed around with my files and folders to try and fix the bad serial problem but if you fix that problem you get banned...

The bad serial problem is due to the fact that your geniune serial key was stolen by a hacker and replaced by a spoof/hacked serial key.

You have to repurchase the game. Don't run unknown executables and don't lookup cheats.
