Half-Life 3 Closed Beta for Christmas?!?!?!

Ok, my friend on Steam, who I will not say his name to not have to make him deal with spams of invites, has Half-Life 3 Closed Beta! At leasts, thats what he claims anyway. Apperantly, a small amount of people have gotten a key to download and try it out over Christmas. I did look around the fourms a little bit to see if anyone has covered this topic, but I couldn't find any. Anyway, I think Gabe and the team are getting ready for something. And besides all of this, there is a website for the beta. I will post it up, or you can just google Half-Life 3 beta and the link should be around there. Anyway, i know this could just be a troll, but I already see vids on Youtube and the fact that someone has a website leads me to the idea that it could be either way. I am fully aware of this, that is why i didn't disclose his name. I want the world to know about this,wether it means getting banned from Steam or not. Gabe, if your reading this, I am deeply and truly sorry, but I need to know the truth. I have been waiting for this game a while, and I need to know more about it. Either way, its not like what happened with HL2, with the big scandal when the person hacked into Valve's computer and posted the code for it. I am simply posting about what can happen.
