I need a new shooter...

Ok, so I am looking for what is probably a mythical game. Like a unicorn, this game probably doesn't exist. But maybe you all know something I don't.

I loved Bad Company 2. I had it on 360 and PS3, played it til the wheels fell off. So I tried Battlefiled 3...huge let-down. Played it on 360, PS3, and PC, all to the same conclusions. The guns all sounded...rubbery. Gun recoil was ridiculous. The tank controls were changed arbitrarily. And the choppers..bleh. And the graphics sucked in comparison to my eyes, especially character models and foilage. The I tried Medal of Honor Warfighter. That game was fabulous! For the first three matches. Then I found out the wonderful joys of being spawn locked. Spawn - sniped (headshot) - spawn - gang raped - spawn -rinse/repeat. I swear EA needs to stick a Cabella's logo on all their recent shooters, because they are all nothing but camping.

So here is my conundrum, is there any such thing as a FPS with the following qualities?

- Weapons with some dakka dakka (I like low survivability shooters) that don't sound like Nerf guns.
- Big maps with more than just "team deathmatch" that people actually play.
- Full Xbox 360 controller support. (I play with a gamepad, deal with it, I don't give a flying toss how great you think mouse/keyboard is)
- Camper un-friendly, especially when it comes to spawn trapping. Seriously, leave the tent, get a gun, go kill something.
- Vehicle combat. Specifically tanks, I don't care for air combat.
- Progression system (love me some unlocks)
- Server based hosting, not peer-to-peer.

Any ideas?

Not really, I actually feel sorry for you. I see your type all the time: the ones so bereft of social skill that they have to anonymously pick a fight with someone regardless of the topic or the opinion. It doesn't matter what I had originally posted, it didn't matter what I said, you were going to chime in with a contrary statement to get a response out of me, because that is the only source of meaningful human interaction you can get. It wasn't because your "opinion" was a good one, in fact you seem to have the minority opion on the topic at hand, it was because you saw someone make an opinionated post, and decided to provoke a response. You knew I was going to "dignify you with a response", because opinionated posters usually have a measure of pride and will back their opinions up.

I just feel bad for you dude. Coming out of the woodworks just to insult a guy who asks for other peoples thoughts, and then calling them "childish" for a control scheme preference? Come on man. I'm not trying to insult you, I'm really not. In fact, if you really want to interact with me so bad, add me to friends, and we can go do some multiplayer on something. You don't have to insult people to get attention, just ask nicely.

On topic: I need some peeps to play Planetside 2 with to show me the ropes (AKA n00bbash me), since it looks like that is going to be the winner for me.
