What’s funny is that Steam fanboys’ reaction to third-party launchers is exactly how gamers reacted to Steam when Valve forced it on them to play Counter-Strike and Half-Life 2 way back when. But gamers have the memory of a goldfish and somehow Steam is “better” when in reality it was just the first launcher.
Eeeh no. Steam is pretty much the best one out there.
Formatting buttons?
You talking about the forums? Well the forum runs by itself and isn't connected with the Steam client. Steam forums decides to keep it simple.
You can post images if they are in your screenshot or artwork section. Also this has nothing to do with the Steam App. Forums are separated from the clients.
The what?
Bloated? It's pretty lightweight for what it does. Every feature is working as well.
Disconnect? The odd friend system going down for a moment? Like maybe once a month? Not much of an issue.
Crashing? No, just no. Steam hasn't crashed for me in bloody forever. Hell I don't remember if it has crashed at all for me. You know for 15+ years straight.
It is by far the most stable program I have used.
Steam improved over the years. To the point where quite literally the vast majority have no issues with it. You only have a couple of people coming here claiming it's the worst thing ever. If it was the worst thing ever a lot of more people would have made topics about it.
But nope you just have a couple of users. Which pretty much proves how good of a program it is.
Which happend 2011.
Pro tip at topic.....open up a Webbrowser of your choice to browse the steam discussions as every sane person does it.
If your complaining. It's a sign. Time for a new computer for you.
