I prefer Masculine Body and Feminine Body myself. Type 1 and Type 2 is just too machine for me. But it's not a no-buy issue.

Not all games with DEI design decisions are equal, and the whole type1/type2 situation is honestly the least impactful DEI decision that could be made, but people see it and assume that it will be the wokest game since Dustborn.

Honestly I think the biggest issue hurting the anti-woke argument is the uncertainty of what "woke" even is. If you ask 100 different people for the definition of woke, you'll get 100 different answers. To some people, "woke" means "anything I don't like".

I think there's a legitimate discussion to be had here though, and I do think some elements of wokeness are affecting games negatively, but not all of them, and not all to the same degree. It's also not the only issue affecting games negatively, nor is it even the biggest issue.

I should put together a "body type simulator" that quite literally is just a super in depth character creator. See if it gets brigaded by the anti-woke sillies.
