It just comes off an incompetent if the devs cant seem to finish a game and not have the audacity to turn off the Early Access panel.
If we add arbitrary time limit we will get the exact same game, but without a warning. I am not sure how that would be any better.
Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more
If you dont want it dont buy it. Its that simple.
B. Rushed Game
Can't have both.....
Still being updated.
I prefer games to be released when the devs determine they are finished and complete, not by some unrelated arbitrary deadline set by someone who had never written a line of code in their life.
If you want a finished and complete game, buy it when it is finished and complete.
No.
Sheesh. We're being spoiled rotten this month with the increase in EA whining.
It's not up to anyone but the developers how long they want to be in early access for. Some developers are just 1 dude who are self financing their project and have real life issues to tend to. If you don't want to support them then don't, no one is making you buy an early access game.
Also, it's really not a good idea to force an arbitrary time limit on creative people. What is it the kids say now? "Let them cook"? Yea.
on each early access games pages, there is a note what says: "Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development."
If you don't like early access games, best to avoid it. if you like early access games then buy it. Personally i found with early access games, not all of them, the few what i bought, have better quality gameplay then some of these AAA games what is rushed by companies. So i'll say these companies can take their time with early access
As long as it takes.
