can steam-idle master get you banned on eac and vac games?
hello. im asking if using idling apps such as idle master/asf can result in a ban if its open in background while i play csgo or overwatch? It’s for trading card drops, but what if I have it open while in multiplayer games with anti-cheat?

posted this on vac forum too, in case i get a different opinion

CS2 doesn't drop cards by play time anyways. When it went F2P in 2018, you can only get cards by making in-game purchases of ~$9 to get a single card drop.

But I have yet to see any type of ban for idling play time.

I don't know about that specific idler you are asking about though.

Idling in matches can net reports and a potential griefing ban however.

Idling apps can't actually do anything in game.

i saw a post saying idling apps codes steam to open games without actually launching them but i need to be sure cz its a third party app after all and it might be a risk to use on csgo
