Downloading mods

I found a mod for "Dawn Of Man" that I'd like to try, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to download it. I have subscribed to it.

I checked and the way it works is "subscribe" should have downloaded something by itself in a mod file of the game. Check your downloads on client. Should be auto.

It's not always very evident but I've found about how that works one day when I saw the bottom bar of my client quickly download something on subscribe. There IS a specific workshop or mod folder somewhere (for each games) where it downloads the mods.

Btw, the way to remove the mods is the same way. Unsubscribe to it and it should remove it. It is like a mod uninstall button or something. I think it's because it modifies the installed files when you do that. Well, whatever magic steam is using, it does wonder.
