If you are purchasing a ubisoft or EA game, there are no cd-keys either. You log into steam, launch the game, which will launch Ubisoft Connect or EA Desktop, log into your Ubisoft/EA account, and the game is registerd to your Ubisoft/EA Account.
If you used a third party site to buy the game, you need to contact that site to discuss your issue - and hope that they aren't a scam site, as a lot of the grey market sites tend to be.
Doesn't show a purchase since 2021, sounds like your transaction wasn't successful (yet).
What is the actual status according to Steam?
Check here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithPurchase
Does it say successful, pending or failed?
once i log in into the steam web. the game doesnt show up.
yeah i got the email from steam said
"Thank you for your recent transaction on Steam. the items below have been added to your Steam Library.
Install the client on all your PCs and laptops and install your bought games on all of them.
Here you see what you own:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
They don't give you CD Keys, as others have told you multiple times. The licenses to the game are tied to your account. You only have 1 game on that account as well, so ensure you're logging into the Steam Client with the correct account used to purchase the game.
Logging in via browser only allows basic stuff. Use the Steam Client.
yeah the sad things. the game on the Transaction History and the account licenses was not there. is there any way tht i can sent all the transaction on my account ?
at the top there is store library community profile...
what happens when you click on library
Any game from about the last 10 years doesn't have a CD key, and doesn't need one.
To play any game you've purchased on Steam you will need to install the Steam client on your PC and log into it with the same account you used to buy the game. You can download Steam from: https://store.steampowered.com/about/
There is the purchase history for your purchases on the Steam store: https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/
This is the list of all your licenses, regardless of whether you've purchased them or redeemed from keys: https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
Both can be reached from your account details page, btw.
Maybe you're using two accounts, and purchased it on the other one. The one you are using to make your post owns one game that was purchased on Jul 1st 2021 (although it's not impossible for Steam to have issues so the badge update isn't visible yet).
