Go play your games then. They are out the if you look. You don't have to deride others pleasure to make your point unless that is your real point all along.
It's just going to frustrate them, possibly make them angry, and look to other places to get what they want to see.
The same goes for gaming, and what games a store sells.
Steam is a game store, and a launch platform. If they started pushing games that only a minority of people want to play, they'd lose customers and money.
Not going to happen. Valve is a business- businesses exist to make money, even the so-called non-profit businesses and orgs whose CEOs are rolling in piles of money.
There are plenty of peaceful and non-violent games on Steam. They just aren't the ones that make the most money, and a business is going to promote what makes them the most money.
There are a ton of peaceful walking sims, city builders, business type sims, farming games, puzzle games, casual match 3 games, idle clickers and such on Steam. There is no shortage. If that's what you want to play- you can find them. Let other people play what they want to play.

This seems like kind of a popcorn fart of a complaint tbh. There are quite literally thousands upon thousands of nonviolent, chill, peaceful games on Steam. You'll be alright.
...and someone who awards them so they have reason to keep doing it.
