Best Story:
Yakuza 8 nominated even though it's the worst, the dumbest and most depressing Yakuza story.
SH2 remake nominated despite it being a 1999 story. By this logic, where's Persona 3 Reload then?

Best art direction & Best music:
No P3 Reload, no SMT V Vengeance?

Best sports / racing:
I know that Test Drive Hong Kong isn't the best game but it's still miles ahead of boring broken overpriced annual junk. Nominees are literally "Mostly negative" on Steam.

Best action game:
Where's STALKER 2?
Why do you even nominate and held awards in Nov-Dec instead of Jan-Feb next year?
Is it gonna make nominees next year then?

Same question for Indiana Jones in best Action/Adventure.

Best adaptation:
LAD: Yakuza nominated..............

Most wanted game:

Nominees have to be games released prior to a cut off date, which was sometime in early November. Any games released after that date will be eligible for the next year awards. Stalker2 will be eligible for next year.

No matter what games are selected for nominees, there will aways be people that will say the "Game Awards are a joke as usual". ValentB if every category had the games you think should be in the nominees, there will be other people that will say "Game Awards are a joke as usual"

It is no joke. If people vote, you get the average opinion of the majority of the people who voted.
There's nothing particularly funny about it. It's simply something that you can engage in.

Of course, if people are going to make 100 different alternative accounts, people slowly turn into jokes. But that's up to them.
