This Item no longer available, says my wishlist.
So, 4 different items on my wishlist are now greyed out and they simply say they are no longer available. I can't see what they are. I can understand a single item saying that, but 4! Is there a publisher that has left Steam? I can't think that 4 items could be removed unless a publisher has removed all of their catalog from the platform.

Any info?

I copy/pasted all the appid's from these "missing" games (had about 40 of them in my list) and as another member mentioned, in my case they were all titles that disappeared in the past due to being delisted or hard banned.

Not exactly sure what you mean by this. I would love to know what the games are that are greyed out.

You go to your wishlist, find the grey one, right click on your mouse and chose copy link address. Then you go to Google and type in: steamdb app/xxxxxxxx
just replace the x's with the number from the url.

did some digging with the appids of the unlisted games and found out they all share the germany related thing in recent updates to them, but the affects seem to be global.
I also have 1 one game like that and I'm not from germany.
did more digging and it seems that lot of these titles have been removed ages ago, but steam somehow made the removed titles be visible as removed in the wishlist.

I gues for most games it comes down to this:

Most of the games will come back as soon as the devs take actions.

no they wont. somehow these recent events made every removed title appear visible as removed. we are walking about games that devs themselves removed years ago.

Christ sakes.

Oh well at least this apparently just requires devs/publishers/whoever to fill out some form for the games to hopefully reappear (altho its still extra bs), and not an age verification system which lil indie company steam just cant afford to set up.
I just read about someone having the same problem so i decided to check it out myself and apparently I have one game that's unavailable now too, but I have no clue which one it is, I looked up the title and it said it's Dolphin emulator however I haven't had it on my wishlist in at least 2 years now so I'm not sure it's even correct
Ok, something is strange:

I have the same issue and when I try to look the game, with steamdb info... I don't wishlist those games

So...
A lot of games in my wishlist have become unlisted / price tag disappeared and a few other just became the unavailable item the OP and others talk about.
Hopefully the devs take do what's needed to get them back on the store soon.

I have the same thing. 4 games, says I added them all on 1st June 2018
IDs in the url are 244230, 602470, 602471, 602472

same 2 from 2018, 1 from 2019, 1 from 2021 and 1 from 2023.
I have absolutely no idea what these game were, but if they are no longer available then fine i just deleted them out of that list. Would like to have known what they were but impossible to find out.

P.S - Ever since this got updated my settings to always show discounted games at the top keeps resetting back. Seems steam doesnt want you to see discounted games right off. (or any other settings you do) no longer stay put. you goto a differant page that setting reverts back or you refresh it reverts back.

i also experienced that my wishlist have several empty titles. here is what they should do: make the titles of the delisted games visible on the wish list.

The "problem" with this is that Valve wants to pretend that anything they've censored out of the store "doesn't exist". And games that don't exist don't have names and images....

Of course, anything that has just been removed from the store could have the information..

On the other hand, my wishlist has both unvailable items with a title, and some without. And it actually seems to the opposite from what I suggested -- a quick look at an example from each category suggests that the ones with the title are the censored ones, and the games without title are the ones that have been removed from the store entirely.

Subnautica 2 guys.... subnautica 2 ! :steamsad:
:sacrificed:

Someone might freak out just by watching the game. A senile politician has to quickly pour out his intellectual waste on the gaming community so that he is satisfied.

There seems to be something going on for sure. Yesterday my Wishlist was normal, but today I'm getting "not available for your region" errors for a total of 9 games out of the sudden and they got barely anything in common. Except that none has been released yet.

Are you in Germany, by any chance? Steam now requires games to have an age rating, otherwise they aren't sold here anymore.

Ah yes, that must be the reason. And the good news is it seems some devs already took notice of it. Gothic Remake and Spine Gun Fu are back already for me.

What age gets all of them? :urist:
