Some kind of Backdoor that Hacker can exploit ?
Long story short :

Recently i have a friend that have his steam account hijacked after he get a malware

Hacker played Hunt and Rust on my friend account and used cheats on thoses 2 games.

Honestly he don't know how it's possible. And so do i !!!

This happen this week, he was aware of the malware 3 week ago and do scan and ♥♥♥♥ with Adcleaner malware bit.

He had Steam Guard enable with the QR code/Smart phone connection.

If they try to bypass this with mail address process, my friend's Yahoo mail have connection history.

The same history show nothing outside his current location in France.

Same for Steam connection history in his account. it showed only France.

Which means that STEAM has some kind of backdoor that hacker know to bypass.

And ultimately he got some kind of problem with his Discord account too. An outside connection and spam some Crypto/Scam link in every server/DM this account has.

Uhhh... Am I the only one who saw the answer to this thread like right away...?

i know that the Friend stereotype is quite often used, but you can see that my account don't have VAC mention.

I won't link his account, but you can find it in my FL.

And this thread subject is about potential backdoor.
There is no backdoor. Malware is doing what malware does. Why it's called Malware. Keylogging, session token theft, etc etc.

Admitting piracy and blaming Valve?

I'd suggest deleting the thread and hoping it isn't found.

Downloads malware, blames Valve for account compromised due to malware. Interesting...
There are a lot of malware tailored to hijack steam accounts, many are often hidden in warez or cracks.

Piracy doesn't pay.

No, this thread subject is "You or someone downloaded an illegal setup or exe and a user got pwned for it." The problem is not the backdoor but your illegal files. o.O

Yup. Legit products are important, so are AVs and firewalls.

Not surprised by this thread but blaming valve.... lol.

Not blaming Valve at all, that was a pure simple dumb question anyway. Some kind anon enlight me
Yeah, a logical brain can make the link between "He downloaded illegal files" and "His steam got hacked". It's mathematical. Not every files are bad but not every users know what they are doing. This thread is proof of "not knowing what they're doing."...

Also, not even sure why anyone would admit to valve that you downloaded a crack. Like... if that is not proof of why this problem came to happen to begin with then not sure what is. All of what we see here is "This is wrong. Nothing of this is right at all" lol

None of this surprises me.
If you find malware on your system always wipe the system, delete bios and lose everything, reinstall change passwords etc after, its the only way to be sure its gone.. Antivirii and such are not good enough.
Before swinging the big mallet, how about they reflect on where this malware came from? It might just stop them from hitting the same problem again ...
