Why Are we Having 2 Major sales in december?

The Autumn sale and winter sale are in the same month... Why?

Why not just make december an entire sales month and just add black friday for November?

False. It's always about a week and Winter is always about 2 weeks.

Autumn sale has always been Steam's version of a Black Friday sale. It will end in December only because the day recognized as Black Friday, which comes after the US Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, is very late in the month this year.

Autumn always encompasses Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

It just so happens that those dates fall on the last week of November and first week of December due to how the date is picked for Thanksgiving, the 4th Thursday in November.

I just checked yeah your right... I always thought it was a week after Halloween - than we got black friday - had to check 2015 to see
