Possible new type of hack

A friend of mine sent me a screenshot about an acquaintance of his sending a link about a logo contest to a website called StudentGameclash. The guy managed to regain access to the account and warn not to click on the link he sent about this site. This is just a warning in case you see anything on this site as it could be a new type of hack

nothing new about it. remove the website name, NEVER POST scam sites names or URL's. the only thing you are doing by posting it is helping the bad guys get more victims.

remember, you have to treat everyone as an idiot if you want to keep the idiots from becoming victims.

Identifying the Scam

This scam primarily propagates through online chat systems such as Steam Chat or Discord, but may also involve Steam Comments or comments/IMs in external forums.

• A friend or unknown person contacts you through Steam, Discord or any other community to ask if you'd take a little time to "vote for" or support their account or team in a tournament or contest.
  
• You're directed to a phishing website to log in and cast your vote.
