Admin Access for Games
Ill install a game and run it and everything will usually be fine, then when I return the 2nd launch will be interupted by an "install script" which is strange because the games already been installed and ran. This is happening for more than one game. So the games are asking for admin access "for an additional install" which isnt a problem but when I reject that request and the game refuses to run having already ran previously now there is a major problem here because its as if the game has said well if you wont let me have additional admin access to install this script that doesnt come with the actual game you dont get to play me which is unlawful and denial of access to paid for goods. Plain and simple.

What this all amounts to is a suspected spot of corruption in the gaming scene. I say suspected but you know...

The point im making is this non sense of not being allowed to play your game because the publisher is trying to sneak some install script past you which happens to require your permission is total non sense.

We pay for the game, we get to play the game. Anything that stands between that is corruption as I see it.

We shouldnt be taken advantage of like this, its awful. What do other gamers think about this ? Feel free to join in and contribute to a healthy discussion.

The issue is with your PC as i never have to grant admin access for any game, whether it be on Steam, Ubisoft Connect, Battlenet app, GOG Galaxy, EA Play app, Rockstar Launcher.
Some of us cant play our games because of this non sense.

Im pointing out the dodgy installs after the initial install that want admin access. In some cases you cant get past the initial install because the first run is stuck behind an additional admin permission request that only triggers on the first run, not install, which if denied means the game wont run which is down right wrong.

It could be a sneaky way of stopping us from playing the game for whatever reason. It isn't right though, not at all. The game is already installed. It is supposed to work.
Try adding Steam to windows firewall and your AV.
Run the launcher as admin.
Sounds like you dont have an administrator account in windows.
Sounds like we have our first heretic.
