Keep the political crap in off-topic please.
Keep political and other nonsense to the off topic forum.

not a strong bait but we will see
no awards
Politics on Steam was a mistake.
Award bait aside, It's because Twitter sucks for engagement after Elon sold premium for $$$. Now it's largely a dead Internet bot graveyard.

Lots of people I followed on Twitter have moved to other platforms (Bluesky, Instagram, Threads) because their content didn't get engagement there.

Yeah, Twitter is for fringe and politics these days. And porn advertising, so many porn bots.

Funnily enough, I actually use BlueSky for the opposite reason. I don't really care about engagement as much as other users do, so I only post stuff that relates to my interests (video games, cartoons, etc.) and interact with others who share the same hobbies. It ain't perfect, but it beats the other site being downright unusable.

Plus, even before Elon's acquisition of Twitter/X, I always avoided that site because of the overwhelming toxicity on the platform.
Bluesky is basically just promoting assassinations along with many devs on there…

Like who? I haven't seen any Steam devs promote any assassinations, including that most recent one.
Op apparently doesn't like it when people use their free speech in ways he doesn't agree with.

Watching the people who used to call other people snowflakes turn into the biggest snowflakes themselves is genuinely hilarious.
Yeah, lot of big feelings from the "♥♥♥♥ your feelings" crowd.

I get more and better interactions in a day in Bluesky than I could get In a month in Twitter.

And I got fed up of every third tweet being a blue checked spam bot advertising some dropshipping store or crypto scam.

Fun fact, not many care if a racist individual passes away as they just spread hate.
What part of that is fun?
That it's a fact, nothing more.
I really hit a hornet’s nest with this one, do people really love the Butterfly Containment Zone so much

It’s only surpassed by reddit in evil
