Facebook Permanent Locked (Steam Trade Link)
Kinda really out of topic but I would like to ask if sending unique steam trade link on Facebook such us sending it on "Group Chat" or simply posting it, will make my facebook account locked out?

As you can see I have main facebook account that i've been using for almost 13 years, I also used it for school purposes, so on May 4 2023 my classmate said that he will be giving me a CS:GO skins so he needs my "Steam Trade Link" so I created a new link and reply it to our Group Chat, now after sending it I sent a CS:GO screenshot about having an MVP now minutes after my facebook messenger was automatically logout, so I finish my game first after all that I've check my facebook account and after sending valid ID they permanently locked me out.

So I know it is really out of topic but I am really curious if Facebook detect my "Steam Trade Link" as Phishing Scam link and it cause my facebook account got permanently locked?

Steam has nothing to do with Facebook, Valve doesnt own Facebook. You were told where to ask:

There is no point in contacting Steam Support, as they're not involved. Only support from Meta/Facebook can answer your questions regarding this.

Review of what? This isn't even remotely supports job. You have to deal with this via Facebook. Support can't advise you on FB policies, nor can they do anything about them, and they aren't going to contact Facebook on your behalf.

It's likely Facebook flagged it as a scam attempt. Sending fake Steam trade links is probably something that is commonly done by scammers on Facebook. Again though nothing can be done on Steam's side. If Facebook wanted to ban all accounts that linked to Steam they could if they wanted and valve would have no say.

It seems that my message was misunderstood, and I apologize for that. What I meant by 'hoping for review' is that I was referring to Facebook itself. I searched online for their support email and have already emailed them to explain what happened and provide details about the content I sent before my account was permanently locked. I didn't mean to imply that by posting here, I was seeking Steam Support. Instead, I posted a discussion here in the hope of receiving an answer or finding someone who may have experienced a similar issue of being locked out of their Facebook account due to posting or sending a unique 'Steam Trade Link.'

It appears that you have answered my question, and I agree that Facebook might have flagged the Steam Trade Link I sent in our group chat, possibly considering it a scam or phishing link. I understand that Steam is not directly involved in this issue. I'm doing my best to recover my permanently locked Facebook account, and I truly hope I can communicate with a real meta support person to explain everything in detail.

Once again, thank you so much for your reply, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Many sites will eventually block specific kinds of links, especially if in many cases they're known to be used with hijacked accounts/phishing/scamming etc or have crossed over in numbers as spam and thus become blocked by such.

Steam links can still be sent from other methods; texting, discord, etc.

Any activity that seems very bot-like, illegitimate, or unwelcome on their service will most likely get locked out by default if recognized as such even if not the reality of the matter. So if one had an overly predictable way of writing & used links often - yes, meta may lock an account suspecting what the account is being used for.

Keep Steam stuff on Steam and you'll be fine.
