Valve has no control over whether the games devs/pubs choose Epic Games exclusivitiy.

Ask them instead.

I knew what he meant. No, not everyone knows that... people don't even know about Epic store exclusivity being a thing or even understand that Valve doesn't seek games out to be sold on Steam.

Steam plans nothing for any game that's not their own.

Does Deep Silver have plans to release Dead Island 2 on Steam? Probably, after the (usually 1 year) exclusivity period Epic paid them for ends.

I'm personally not planning on getting it unless I see it on sale here for less than $15 or so. I'm not not that interested in such a mediocre and linear zombie smasher.
