he is so warm and cuddly
he has a great sense of humor, nobody can make you laugh like my gabby
he always smells soooooo good
no clue what it is, but i could sniff on him all day
he lets me ride his pegasus, which while it may sound cool, is most certainly not
it hates me, and i cannot say no when gabby asks, or he gets offended
the damn thing makes sure i wind up puking every time
but he lets me ride it, and that is just too awesome
Do you think he (and his company) are immune from the "You die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become a villain." thingy?
But yeah thank god the only thing he didn't took and learned at Microsoft is how to sliming down like Bill Gates.
because who doesn't love a figure like Santa Claus bringing discounts, right?
He actually lost a lot of weight the past few years.
Steam would surely turn into a craphole if there were ever shareholders telling them how to operate.
That's what I would see as ultimately selling themselves out to someone bigger, but whether they will do that or not depends on the predecessors of Gabe more likely.
Even then I can't see why they would. With so much money they get to experiment with whatever kind of innovation they want, which is their whole schtick for bringing more ways to play on Steam. It should theoretically be any employee's dream to have their ideas come to life. It's like a free sandbox over there.
There's no way that I would sell that opportunity away.
Still, Valve's "flat hierarchy" company structure is also criticized for being strict on only pondering ideas which provide actual value for the company, while discouraging the rest, so it's not like it is all sun and rainbows over there, one should keep in mind.
There's supposedly plenty of scrapped projects to back that up.
