Why does steam keep scrolling to the top of my games list when i select a game?

That happens only for the first time you do click on one of the videogames in your library, or shall happen only once at least.
I'd suggest to bypass this bug by clicking on the title on the very top, allowing you to scroll down and click onto the title you've wished to click onto to avoid it.

This isn't here for long.. In fact, I'd say that this is here since the latest update.

I am also having this problem and it persists a month on. I've already disabled gpu acceleration in the library which seems to be the most common recommendation. Any advice would help.

still happening here, annoying as hell

yeah i'v been getting since this new steam client.

if you goto big mode and say look at whats downloading then go back to small mode and it will do it every-time.
so annoying as when i goto a game i want to play and double click,it starts a different game at the top of my lists.

tbh the old client was much better than this new one.

I've noticed this occurring in the beta selection menu for games as well, such as Rimworld, where their list of betas is actually long enough to impose scrolling.

This is still broken. I keep launching the wrong game by accident. Since when did scroll bars stop working correctly?
