Why should any business assume another businesses expenses? There is no accounting that can do away with the expenses. If you buy a movie ticket to go see a movie at a theater is their competitor going to let you see the movie at their theater instead?
If you buy a ticket to fly on American Airlines is another airline going to let you fly on them because you no longer wish to use Ameerican?
There is no benefit to that for game developers, publishers or platforms. They *want* people to have to repurchase games if they switch platforms.
i aint buying your ticket...
phone companies use to have exclusive numbers and now you can
move numbers from company to company....
its just customer entrapment locking us into these things...
i can buy the same can of tomatoes in several different stores...
am i here to benefit game developers... N O
wanna sell me something... make it work for me..
Your describing apples and oranges. Try buying the can of tomatoes in oen store then asking a totally different store owned by someone else to handle your issues with it. Multiple stores already sell many of the same products. The issue is you want to buy it from one store, then have another store give you the service you paid the original store for.
No industry in the world works that way. You paid Company A, company B isn't going to take over their contract for free.
They will cater to me, for it is me, that supports them. Not the other way around.
And knowing that, i will do EXACTLY as i fancy
You made your alt unlimited a month or two ago though.
if youre talking about issues... refer them back to place of purchase... simple..
solutions orientated.. make it work
Yep, its simple, when you buy a product you aquire it from your place of purchase. You can't buy a game on GoG for instance then expect Steam to provide it to you and deal with all your future issues.
Fun fact, a developer could give you free copies on other platforms if they want, Bethesda gave me free copies of the fallout games i owned on their launcher on Steam for instance.
I spent $10 on steam recently.... instead of $50...
and i just spent $120 on a non game platform that
seems to offer more fun ...
