Buying DIRECTLY from Humble Bundle is save. I do it for years.
As a rule of thumb, if a store is featured here:
https://isthereanydeal.com/

They're a trustworthy third party store.

What you DON'T do is use a site that wants you to login to Steam in order to use it, that's usually a sign of a site designed to phish your login
There's a neat way to discern a fake Steam OpenID site from a fake one.
All you need to do is be already logged into the community.

Any legit OpenID site would detect you're already logged on Steam on that browser and just ask to verify if you're the one logged in, instead of asking for a username/password

and how do you suspect that you going to be hacked?

Selling 11 games for $15 that are $30-$40 each on Steam. Fishy.
Humble Bundle is a charity site. $15 would be the minimum you pay. You can pay more.

It's also a publisher on Steam

I read this thread like "Someone never used bundles before?". There are many safe sites where we can buy bundle of games and we get keys in return. No steam info given. Tito is on the right track with the website he linked. I use isthereanydeal very often.

In fact, Steam has inevitably flagged me as an extremely bad customer -- most of my games got into my account via keys. I don't currently have statistics of my own, but Steam tells me it's 1756 keys and 130 Steam store purchases...

How do they flag you as a bad customer, what does that mean?

Not that serious :-) I don't think they have an actual "flag"; it's just that if they were going through their data and pick out the customers they made a lot of money with, and the ones that were a bit stingy, I'd definitely be in that latter pile.

Stea, doesn't give rewards for giving them a lot of money, though. Unless you consider Steam points to be a reward.

Nothing, there's no such thing.
The only thing that Steam 'tags' an account for are chargebacks.
I have over 3k games and most of them come from bundles too and I'm not a 'bad customer'

There's always coming new people who don't know about all the things. It's always the first bundle or Steam Sale for anyone.

Well, very true... New people have to learn the isthereanydeal way. The best way. :)

Are these good games? I never played a game like that before. The graphics look weird, but maybe the story/quests are good?

CRPGs almost always have excellent story telling.

They're excellent games.
Humble Bundle is great. Bundles are really the cheapest way to get games (most of the time), or a coupon for monthly they give sometimes to see if you will resub/unpause.

Check the custom donation slider when buying, I didn't notice it for years buying from them. Now it's max to charity for me every time.
I usually avoid Humble Bundle these days. I have not found a bundle I like in 2 years...
I believe that the way that it works is that Humble Bundle obtains Steam keys from actual video game developers/producers (or are given Steam keys such as by indie developers who want to get some attention to their game) and Humble gives them away to those who purchase said bundle. Some of the money goes towards charity (so make sure to check the charity assigned to that bundle in case it's something you don't support) and I'd bet the AAA or AA games you occasionally see bundled are probably just because it benefits the developers since they can say, "Yeah, we helped donate to a charity." You can get some pretty good/expensive games for a very cheap price, that's for sure.

Sometimes, they run out of keys for certain games if that bundle or game is particularly popular, but they try to get new keys if that ever happens and will email you to inform you that a key is redeemable.

As was stated numerous times, the website is legitimate, and between Humble and Fanatical (another good bundle site), I've gotten over 2,000 video games since around 2017 or so when each bundle is collectively over $100 USD worth of video games for less than $15 USD.
