Stеаm or Steam.
and at most we should just refer to click on steam client help...
if your being stressed and distracted by having your account hijacked
you dont need to play more guessing games with non official links...
These forums aren't customer support.

Look at that. What would you have users do? Sit back and do nothing? Or provide helpful information?
No one here is posting incorrect info. that's your assumption. A WRONG one.
Yeah, you could post any link. If it's a phishing link. your account would probably get community banned. Again, no one here is doing that.
learn how to use steam support
Users do things they shouldn't, use 3rd party trading sites, share account info, which is against the Steam ToS.
Exactly how is Valve supposed to prevent that?
I know how, thanks. You know what they'd do? Give the same links that were posted here. Not everyone on Steam is a scammer posting phishing links.
Large corporations and governments actively create systems that impair security for their own ends. There are many systems and the interactions between them and users create myriad opportunities. It's not so easy to just blame the user anymore. It's easier to brake systems than it is to build them. Bad actors will always have an easier time causing problems than engineers will have designing problem-resilient systems.
I understand that some of these guys coming on here are being stupid and doing ♥♥♥♥ they shouldn't do, some of them ♥♥♥♥ that they know they shouldn't do, but most people are not up to speed on a what an intricate castle of hot ♥♥♥♥ the scamming enterprise has become.

The users may not be up to speed, but guess whose job that is? Theirs.
Valve cannot force feed users the info.
But scammers do force feed people the disinformation and scam attempts.
Exactly how do people get phisted in any other way.
Report, Block.
Don't add strangers to your friends list.
I think someone would be able to visually identify the difference between xn--stmpowered-0qi3d and steampowered.
Just a thought:
Ask yourself why Valve shifts the responsibility for many things onto the user. If something happens (and there have been multiple serious cases on this platform in the past) and you can't hold the platform operator responsible, it's a nice way to save legal fees and avoid disputes. Regardless of whether they are justified or not.
Users also have the burden of proof and that is where one of the core problem lies.
And ask yourself how many people (starting from the minimum age limit allowed here up to old age) know their way around, stay constantly informed about threats, read the forums or other sources and know how to help themselves. Especially when you consider that security risks are increasing exorbitantly. A large part of the topic is still only accessible to a small number of people who are really interested in it.
Just because something is written somewhere doesn't make it right. Legal corporate protection and actual practice (aka reality) are two different things.
It is not for nothing that we have authorities and laws around the world that take action against such things. Even if these are often circumvented or undermined.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login and password and for the security of your computer system. Valve is not responsible for the use of your password and Account or for all of the communication and activity on Steam that results from use of your login name and password by you, or by any person to whom you may have intentionally or by negligence disclosed your login and/or password in violation of this confidentiality provision. Unless it results from Valve’s negligence or fault, Valve is not responsible for the use of your Account by a person who fraudulently used your login and password without your permission.

Further, users not informing themselves and clicking on every link they get doesn't mean the platform isn't secure.
Valve cannot stop scammers from being scammers. It's a problem with human nature.
EDIT:
10 year account with 6K games and still thinks that account security isn't your responsibility.
