About Partial Controller Support

Why is it that Steam no longer shows it that a game has partial controller support?

I can't help but to notice my last 2 whole days of looking for games to play has been a complete waste of time. Steam shows if one of my controllers are supported. But it no longer shows on ANY game for partial controller support.

I just got done looking at the store page for several games already in my library that I KNOW have partial controller support. But nothing anywhere on the Store page actually states that it does.

What gives? Is there a way to fix this?

It is up to the developers to add the tag if the game has full/partial controller support. Should also be noted that Full Controller support means that once you press play on the game in Steam that you can fully use a controller, where as Partial controller support means you'll need to use a keyboard/mouse for certain things in the game for example a game allows you to name your own character but doesn't provide an in game keyboard and you have to use your own keyboard to type in the name, but you can use a controller for everything else in the game that would be Partial Controller Support

That posted game doesn't say anything about controller support for me. As already mentioned, games in my library that I know for certain used to state it no longer does. The only games in my library that say anything about controller support are the ones that have Full support.

I actually have all the games that are already in my library categorized with tags. So, I know what is what. Finding a game already in my library with partial support is easy enough. But seriously, NONE of those games are showing it on the Store page anymore. They used to, but not anymore.

So... I guess it appears that every developer ever seems to have decided to remove such tag? That really isn't logical. It seems that i am screwed on Steam then. I don't know who made this change, but they are terrible. FML just FML.

sorry, for dredging this up this old thing here. i just wanted to state that Steam store pages have now showing this correctly. not sure what caused the issue, or how it got fixed. but, yeah... issue is gone now.

either way, thanks for the post here everyone. ^_^
