Why is steam so bad?

I originally wanted to post this as "why is the steam workshop so bad", but I tried to see if anybody had already posted it... And the search function literally did not work.


It. Did. Nothing.

The user experience on steam is, frankly, appalling. The interface is pointlessly cluttered (SHINY! though), the search function flat out does not work, and I can't even look at my library without losing the post I am writing right now.

Why is steam so bad? It's not like they don't have ALL the money.

Right click any open space here, copy page URL. Or just click on the URL address bar to auto copy the link.

Control+click or middle mouse click your avatar to open a new window, highlight the URL and paste the URL you copied into the address bar.

in most cases its malware, like malware can be so deep as to infect bios so it will cause lag and glitches in almost every app. even in media players like vlc a video can lag (ona modern cpus video playback is like less than 1 percent of cpu time and it lags thanks to malware that usually does screencapture, most likely in different instances so it can do like 4 screencaps to different source or malware programs. and most oses do inside hardware got security holes so its as easy as pressing a button like in the movies, almost any person can hack, probably iven illetarate person can watch you browsing history and call themselves a knowledgabler person.
