Paypal login

So i was trying to buy something but cant login.
The paypal popup opens i put in the email then complete the not a robot thing, and instead of asking for password it just resets asking for email again.
Any idea how to fix this?
PS: i can login to paypal just fine in the browser and the paypal app so im guessing its a steam bug.

Probably Paypal refusing service because the version of Chromium that Steam is using is too old. Either for technical or security reasons. Steam is still using Chromium version 85 for its embedded browser, which is 2 years and multiple months old by now.

(And yes; Chromium 85 is woefully insecure.)

Same here but since ~3 weeks. Using Paypal and Steam App since "ever", never had a Problem. Via Desktop PC it works, Smartphone always problems with authentification. According to steam Support the Problem lays with Paypal and vice versa

Second that till now. Using it since early 2000 without any probs. Funny enough that its working fine everywhere except on steam (mobile).

Paypal works fine for me. I have activated authenticator app on PayPal account.

This is frustrating! I have no access to PC at the moment and wanted to buy a game from my phone before the Winter sale ends. Either have to miss it or being forced to buy it via credit card which I do not like because already have a lot 8n my PayPal balance just can't login. After typing my email, I get security challenge and upon completion returns me to the email field, I type the email again and same ♥♥♥♥ loops forever. Any ideas for fix or workaround on mobile?

If you get the demand to login into paypal when you want to buy something in the steam app, currently you have to go to your browser and buy the things there. The paypal login page will open up but in the browser it works perfectly fine. After you logged in to paypal and accepted the demand by steam, you will be verified and you can buy a couple of things via the App again before you have to do that again.
