Is there a steam console?
That's what I thought the steam deck was, but it looks more like a PSP in the pictures.
I mean a console that works like an xbox or playstation, for games like fallout where I'd prefer the setup of a console with the freedom/mods/console of a PC.

I don't have a clue. I guess I've got more research to do.

You mean have an HDMI or something ran from the deck to a TV, and it would show up well on the TV?

No, I mean HDMI running between a dock and your TV.

It's a handheld. It works the same as the Switch, there is a dock you can connect to your TV. Though the Deck can also be connected via a USB-C to HDMI cable, I think. ReBoot might know better on that.

It looks like a PSP because like the latter the Steam Deck is handheld.

You can dock the Deck to a TV if you wanted to use a TV for gaming.
