"Failure no license" when trying to download any demo

As it says in the title. As is usually the case when there's a next fest on I'm queueing multiple demos for install, and everything worked fine until about 2 minutes ago, when I started getting a popup that says "failure no license" whenever i try to install anything. I've already tried restarting steam and changing my download region.

As an additional troubleshooting method, I tried installing and running a game from my library that I'd never played before. I was able to install and launch it with no issues. This issue only seems to apply to demos.

Getting the same thing here. I downloaded nearly 150 demos so far, and when it did happen, I just let my queue finish and it would clear up, allowing me to download more. At this point the queue is clear but the message persists. Restarted Steam already but no dice. Haven't rebooted my PC yet as I'm unable to do so at the moment, but otherwise I'm out of ideas. Am I just screwed from downloading anymore? lol

EDIT: Now it's working again. This is so strange. Must be the servers or something. Just gotta have patience with this, I guess. If performance is THIS bad though, wait until Summer Sale...

Yeah, it also eventually started working for me again without a fix (for now). Seems to be a stress/load issue.

Would love a solution for this. I want download a couple hundred games but I can only put 10 - 20 in my queue at a time (literally a random amount) before it starts saying no license. Shame :(
