how can i get rocket league on steam?

i cant find it on steam yet alot of my friends have it? it would be a nice place to have all my games stored here, but i cant find it anywhere. i tried to loan it from friend so i could buy it here, but it still wont let me buy. how come?

It's not here anymore. Epic bought it and now it's their exclusive. People who have it can play still tho.

Epic Game's removed it from Steam a few years ago

Indeed, Epic Games bought the developer, pulled the game from Steam and made it free to play, available through the Epic Games Store.

There are game gift copies of the game out there, but expect to be charged OUTRAGEOUS amounts of money to get one.

Epic games bought them out, made them remove it from Steam so no one else can get a copy anymore, and made the game free to play only via Epic game client no where else.

Both Epic, and Steam get same updates, and everything, but force to get Epic account to keep playing on it via steam version.

Unlikely to be added back, Epic bought them so they could exclusively have them on their store afterall...
